ok my next mod is gonna be the cossie header. Bu t I was wondering if I put a longer muffler on will that help a lil' bit with the cesna sound? Right now its just the trubendz 2.5 cat back and its real deep and I wanna keep it that way. And I was going to add duals to make it look better with that rear diffuser. What yall think?

and rental car is a good thing? lol im not old enough to drive a rental car, i think that you have to be 21 to drive one, 25 to rent.. i guess by the time that i would be buying one, i would be close to that age..

Yes, and I doubt the Focus would get the thumbs up from Ponch if the hood was popped. My best friend had a (modified) WRX that left my hands shaking the first time I rode in it. His STI is the same way (only more so). I LOVE my Focus, but it is no Subaru.

if u dont want to sound like a ricer, cut the muffler off, and do like we do, see a cop or get near him shift up and let off the gas, or keep her at low rpm till cop goes away

The rice is not in the muffler, and cutting off the muffler from his $$ cat-back is not going to help keep it's deep sound.

My girlfriend has a Volvo with a 2.5L 5 cyl (like in the Euro Focus ST only NA) It has a nice tone, but each cylinder still displaces 0.5L, so it isn't any deeper than a 2.0L, it just has more combustion events per revolution.
I like the sound of Nissan's old school (60's) s20. DOHC 2.0L straight six. It has 0.33L of displacement per cyl. It sounds like a little Indy car.
Same with the Carrera GT. I have seen a a few around here (3). They sound exactly like an Indy car. They have .57L per cyl with 10 cyl. @ redline (8400 rpm) it is pretty neat stuff.
I think a 2.0L 4cyl engine sounds nice, ours included. Put on the header, and stick on the Powered by Cosworth badge. I really don't think it will be loud enough to get you any tickets.

Top speed police interceptor Crown Vic= 129mph
Top speed of police radio (radio waves)= +/- 186 miles per second
Top speed of night stick= fast enough[chair]
