OK OMG SO GUYS

What I thought was a problem with the transmission was actually that the car was not getting enough fuel at WOT when the car was running hot.
The result was what feels like a slipping clutch but upon close examination it's a problem with a fuel pump.

I was told that this was a transmission problem and they billed me $2,000 to fix it.
Now they tell me it's a fuel pump problem.

I am about to raise hell to get back my 2 grand.

I told them if it's a fuel pump that I'll do it myself so don't even bother buying a pump and charging me labor up the ass for something I can do in an hour in my garage at home.

they said to me "Well it was hard to tell because the symptoms are similar, see we fixed the transmission and these both happened to be problems"

I'm guessing the transmission didn't need anymore than a fluid change.

I blame myself for not taking it to the stealership to get all teh recall work done before digging this hole for myself.

damn i hate ppl that try to get over on someone!!! [?|] that is crap!

turns out the problem is beyond the fuel filter recall, the actual pump is leaning out the engine to the EXTREME. the tranny shop is doing all the replacing and stuff for free though. Plus they still need to repaint my front bumper
