Sunday was the SVTOA Performance Driving Clinic in OKC and my first time on the track. I posted details about the event in the Road/Rally/Auto-x forum, but here are some of the pictures of me on the track:

These last pictures were taken on the hardest corner of the course. It lead you to early apex, but you had to cut in late so you wouldn't go off the course on your way out.

One of the other SVTF drivers out there, Chris, ScreamingYellowSVT's wife. ANd Oni's (Alex) car in the background. He took all of these pictures at the event.

Thanks Alex!

Sweetness in action, very nice! [thumb]

looks good. gotta love the 5 door. great looking vehicles.

I still love that first shot. The camera actually did the vignetting around the edges, but the style of the shot reminds me of Top Gear's camera work, which I always thought made the show that much better. Oh how do I miss that show.

Jason, you were rockin' it out there that day. I didn't think you were going to be making this event, but I knew you would wind up loving it if you got to come.

I really just wanted to see what the car looked and sounded like when being driven in this type of environment. When you can't videotape it but put it in the hands of someone you know you can trust, it's just fun to watch your own car even if you're not driving it. That and I thought Beverly deserved a chance to have fun out there as well. Tell Autox ZTS (can't remember his full name off of FJ) that he did an outstanding job on that bar. Looks like a real quality piece, and I'd love to see how well it works on the various settings.

^^Hmm, or maybe I just like photographing. I don't know. It's fun shooting when you can actually capture what you want (though, I wasn't fully able to that day).

I hope you don't mind here, Jason. I just had two shots of Bev driving my car that I wanted to share. I like the frontal shot just because you get to see what the tires are doing.

Yeah, those are some SAHWEET shots of you.....err...I mean your car. It's weird seeing your car and it not be you driving it.

I like the frontal shot the best myself. Oh, and your shot of my hatch is spectacular with the lighting and how it's focused on the decal and it gets blurry near the end of the plate. I might need to make that my new avatar. [;)]
