Changing Radio display color?

I probably already know the answer to this question, but is there any way to change the color of the radio display? I have an 06 ZX4 SES w/ the 6-disc changer. Right now it's that very attractive circa-1982 calculator green, but I'd like to change all the interior lights (gauges, window/lock buttons, HVAC panel) to a VW-like red & blue and not have to get a new stereo. I'm probably out of luck, though, right?

If I do have to get a new stereo, will the satellite controls on the steering column be compatable with it?

S2 - A well known FF Moderator compiled almost all known mods for the foci.

I remember there is a doc somewhere for changing the stock HU radio lights colors with good detail but I lost the track, maybe doing a search for the topic can help.

^^yeah what he said... the How-To's are where its at... if i recal someone has changed the color of the stocker though... id do a search and see what you come up with...

Also this is refering the red needles mod but the main focus is in changing all dash green lights to blue. Hope the photos were bigger but ... don't get confused by the 'spanglish'
