Yep, it was 3 years ago on August 21st that I FINALLY got my Focus. Hard to believe it's been that long.
Here I am with Sonic in the first picture after I bought it (yes, I have some pictures from when it was at the dealership about 2 months before I knew it would be mine. [rofl] )
And the next morning in better lighting (bone stock with less than 60 miles on it)
In that three years I have done the following with the car:
21 Autocrosses
2004 NEOKLA SCCA GS Champion
5 judged car shows
3 Team Midwest Columbia G2Gs
Jetfest 2005
FOTB 2006
August 2006 Focus Fanatics Ride of the Month
And collect a huge Focus model collection. [rofl]
as well as the following mods:
Engine:
Amsoil Air Filter
Amsoil 7500 5W30 Synthetic Oil
VF Engineering Rear Engine Mount
Suspension:
Apex 1.5" Springs
KYB AGX Adjustable Dampers
P-51 Rear Shock Shims
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 Wheels (17x7 - 45mm)
215/45ZR17 Kumho Ecsta MX Tires
Interior:
Steeda Tri-Ax/F Short Throw Shifter
Redline Tuning Dead Pedal
Redline Tuning SVT Floor Mats
Redline Tuning SVT Hatch Mat
3M Window Tint - 35%
Exterior:

Smoked Bumper Lights
Mazda 3 Rear Wiper
2006 Focus Street Appearance Package rear diffuser

Build Number on Bumper
Autocross Number Plates by I-Zoom Graphics
And here's how Sonic sits as of 15 minutes ago with over 84,000 miles on the odometer:
It doesn't look too far off from stock, but there's little you can do to make a car look a LOT different without spending ton of money, so I've went with subtle touches.
Some of you will notice some items missing from Sonic since FOTB. My ebay lights I sold last week so I could save up for some ST170s, so I am back to the stockers with my fogs once again as my turn/parking lights.
I also removed the vinyl "GT" stripe that I had put on RIGHT before FOTB.
WHY you ask? [
]
Well, I looked at my car EVERYDAY and asked myself, "Should I remove the stripe or leave it on?"
I figured if I was second guessing myself about my initial decision to put it on, I should go ahead and remove it.
I have a lot more planned for the car, it's just a money issue to get them all done.
I know all of you guys have seen my car a million times so thanks for putting up with me. [
