Yep, it was 3 years ago on August 21st that I FINALLY got my Focus. Hard to believe it's been that long.

Here I am with Sonic in the first picture after I bought it (yes, I have some pictures from when it was at the dealership about 2 months before I knew it would be mine. [rofl] )

And the next morning in better lighting (bone stock with less than 60 miles on it)

In that three years I have done the following with the car:

21 Autocrosses
2004 NEOKLA SCCA GS Champion
5 judged car shows
3 Team Midwest Columbia G2Gs
Jetfest 2005
FOTB 2006
August 2006 Focus Fanatics Ride of the Month

And collect a huge Focus model collection. [rofl]

as well as the following mods:

Engine:
Amsoil Air Filter
Amsoil 7500 5W30 Synthetic Oil
VF Engineering Rear Engine Mount

Suspension:
Apex 1.5" Springs
KYB AGX Adjustable Dampers
P-51 Rear Shock Shims
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 Wheels (17x7 - 45mm)
215/45ZR17 Kumho Ecsta MX Tires

Interior:
Steeda Tri-Ax/F Short Throw Shifter
Redline Tuning Dead Pedal
Redline Tuning SVT Floor Mats
Redline Tuning SVT Hatch Mat
3M Window Tint - 35%

Exterior:
Foglights converted to turnsignals/parking lights
1998 European Focus Grill
Smoked Bumper Lights
Mazda 3 Rear Wiper
2006 Focus Street Appearance Package rear diffuser
Black Brake Calipers
Shortened Stock Antenna
Sonic Decal on Hatch
Build Number on Bumper
Autocross Number Plates by I-Zoom Graphics

And here's how Sonic sits as of 15 minutes ago with over 84,000 miles on the odometer:

It doesn't look too far off from stock, but there's little you can do to make a car look a LOT different without spending ton of money, so I've went with subtle touches.

Some of you will notice some items missing from Sonic since FOTB. My ebay lights I sold last week so I could save up for some ST170s, so I am back to the stockers with my fogs once again as my turn/parking lights.

I also removed the vinyl "GT" stripe that I had put on RIGHT before FOTB.

WHY you ask? [:)]

Well, I looked at my car EVERYDAY and asked myself, "Should I remove the stripe or leave it on?"

I figured if I was second guessing myself about my initial decision to put it on, I should go ahead and remove it.

I have a lot more planned for the car, it's just a money issue to get them all done.

I know all of you guys have seen my car a million times so thanks for putting up with me. [:D]

And are you going to be adding Focus In The Field 2006 to that illustrious list of attended functions?

^^time also flies when your having rum...

but back on topic... car looks hot, sonic is one of the best looking svt's ive seen.. nice and clean!

looks nice pretty clean good to see someone taking care of a sweet ride

It looks better w/o those eBay lights IMO.

Congrats on the 3 years.[thumb] She still looks brand new!

If I had the money I would, but FOTB broke me this year....it cost me almost $1500. FITF would be another 12 hour drive for me and that would be at least $200 in gas plus hotel and food. I just can't afford it right now. [:(]

And thanks for the comments guys.

Just for kicks.....what do YOU think I should do to Sonic next?

put those stripes back on!!! D: I loved em!! lol...but hey if you didn't like em youdidn't like em. I love how she looks, so I'm not too sure :D Maybey paint match the grille and the lip?!?

Yeah, that's a nice wing...a little more aggressive without being over the top. Would need to find a SB SAP car to do a swap though.

Right now I am leaning towards buying a hi-flow cat for the increased torque as long as it doesn't take me out of STS....

Awwww.. Well, I am sure I will meet Sonic eventually.. Maybe at FOTB 07?

I think you should put those GT Stripes back on.

It puts you into STX. I was going to buy the RT High flow cat when it was at such a good deal, but hesitated with the class switch. Wish I had that sound, though.
