Hard brake pedal

I'm noticing this morning that my 2015 Focus has a hard brake pedal when I start the car, is this normal??? I usually notice this when I start the car for the first time in the day.

Before the car starts or after? It sounds like the check valve may be failing on the brake booster.

Almost all older cars can leak the booster down overnight. The problem is a problem only if the pedal stays hard after engine is running at idle.
