Fusion wheels on 17 focus s

Hey everyone I bought a set of fusion wheels. The size is 235/50R17
I know the factory tire size for 17's for the focus are 215/50R17. Should I stick with a 215 tire or will a 235 clear? Does the 235 offer any benefit. 225/45R17 has the same diameter at the stock 15's so maybe those are the ideal size? What say you guys?

The extra width won't actually probably translate to much more contact patch, it'll just add to the sidewall. Too wide of a tire on wheel can make the car feel 'wallowy'. I would probably cut the difference with the 225 wide.

So I ordered a set of 225/45R17 same diameter so my speedometer will be accurate. I am hoping that nets a good result. The 195/65 just feels to narrow and jittery.
