It should say in the warranty section of your owners manual. If it's brake pads I doubt they are covered at all, in fact I have read about some foci having problems with rotors and basically Ford said "too bad". If in doubt check call a local dealer, I'm sure they would tell you.

Have you had it checked out to find the cause of the grinding?

Nothing covered, though under the factory warranty, they will turn your rotors for you, but that is all. I just went through this with my dealership...they suck, now I own brembos. [:D]

I bought mine three weeks ago and the dealer said that the breaks were not warrantied for wear (before I bought it wich means they weren't lieing to get out af a warranty)

but thats not very many miles
he!! use it as an excuse to buy drilled and slotted rotors.[:D]

My rotors are shot up front also. It took 17K miles to do it to mine. The dealership said that they weren't covered. Time to buy slotted rotors !!!!!

Brake pads are covered for 12 months or 12 thousand miles, whichever comes first. Rotors are covered for 36 months or 36 thousand miles, provided they were not damaged by worn out brake pads. And yes, the factory pads do SUCK![;)]
