I've been searching the forum for a few hours now, and can't find the answer to my question, so I decided to ask it here. I have a 2001 ZX3 with a 2.0 Zetec with an MTX My mods include an AEM short ram intake; OBX 4-1 header, off road pipe, and catback exhaust; and Ford 9mm plug wires. I am getting an SCT chip tuned by Wayne from Hypnotic Illusions. I'm getting a basic tune plus any of Waynes tweaks. I'm curious as to what perfomance gains I should expect. Has anybody have any info as to Wayne's work? I've heard good things about him and his programming skills, but haven't found any numbers in HP and Tq gains.

+/- ? that's a pretty big risk there! i've never heard of anyone losing hp from a tune...

i think 15hp is a very high estimate. but it all depends on the mods on a car. pretty much a tune is something that will help with any other mod you have. so basically the more mods you have the better peformance you can see from a chip. but it is a good thing to get early on so that it can be used and expanded as you mod more.
