Alright I know this is probabuly been asked. I did a search and just came up with to many pages of post to find the answer I am looking for.

When buying a timing belt kit now many pulleys should I get? The kits I have seen listed show one or two pulleys. Now does that include the tensionor or is that seperate?

Here is what I am looking at right now...

Thanks. I just want to make sure. I have not done a Zetec timing belt change but I have done my 2.3L in my ranger a few times.

Once I did a timing belt change and tensioner change in the middle of the camp ground on the back of a trailer. Belt walked off the cam gear and burnt into the cover locking it in place when I stopped for lunch in the middle on Indy.[V] Went to the camp site. Borrowed a buddies truck and car trailer and pulled it into the camp site. So much for wheeling that day.

The focus zetec has an idler and a tensioner roller, both up near the cam gears. The contour and escort zx2 zetec has a different idler up near the top, and a second idler down near the water pump. Contour.org has a lot of info on the setup you do not have if you are curious, the threads at this site should all show the one idler, one tensioner setup.
