2000 ATX zetec

dies when first cranked when cold, but starts back up immediatly after

Volant intake, egr removed, svt header swap,2.5 catback basic sniper tune,

i read a few post and people with the same problem had it down to it being the fuel pump... well i just replaced that and the fuel filter and it seems to have gotten worse,


At WOT the car goes MAx lean where it does not want to run,, LIKE its stalling out,,, partial-half throttle is good though.

no intake leaks ,,,, im clueless and about to sale the car or crush it,

That's all about being a vacuum leak. No CEL, low idle or stalling, lean conditions. The usual suspect is the PCV valve vacuum line, but it could be anything in the vacuum system like the brake booster- for example. If that was the case, then you'd hear continuous hissing from the booster.

With those mods you should be looking into a tune , there are many things with those mods that would cause major issues

Idle issues , it would be rare if the fuel pump , filter , sock couldnt supply enough fuel for the idle

Find a member with a scan tool and send me a datalog and I will help find the issues for you
