I did a little searching trying to figure out whether or not the Zetec (non-SVT) is an interference engine. Some said yes...some said no. It's seems for sure the SVT is.
I know it's wise to rather be safe then sorry when it comes to the timing belt. It's better to just replace it then wait for it to break. (of course)
I'm just a little curious why there is so much controversy on this. How could the timing belt breaking bend the valves sometimes and not other times?
Any info from you gurus would be great...just a little curious.
Thanks
