I've got an xm unit hooked up to my 02 svt. The guys over at circuit city installed it but I'm pretty sure the installation kit that you can get had some sort of power connector. The only thing coming out of my dash is the dock and the receiver. Its hardwired though a fm modulator kit so I can still use the side controls for volume but not channel change.
XM radio
Has anyone hardwired an XM radio player to their car? Anyone know what the best way to do this is? I don't like having to plug it into the cigarette lighter outlet especially since that is the only outlet in the whole car. I saw on a website there is a part which is an outlet with some wire slack and you connect it somehow to the one already installed in the car, thinking about doing that if there isn't a better way.
