Is there some problem with the xcal3 were it doesnt work for the svt?

Yes and no, some have problems some don't. Though they did just recently updated the software again. I have a crap ton of updates to do on mine, I just haven't gotten around to it since I been busy, but they released updates that should have fixed most problems. I have freezing issues with mine and my SVT. I can't even datalog through the computer I have to data log onto the device and then transfer the data log onto my computer. And even then it's hit and miss. Even with this I still was able to get my SVT tuned for the most part. Just at the mercy of a temperamental software.

They seem to have it working good again and the new livelink Gen2 seems to also work better with the SVT

I have had no issues with the xcal4

Does this mean Toms Tune will be coming with an xcal4 when ordered, or 3 still?

Yes , I only sell the xcal4 now , the xcal3 is no longer made and sold by SCT
