I would say the JRsc is good for Keeping you car somewhat 50 state legal and that is a big somewhat if you want some real power out of it. You will need to add a race header which is certanly not leagal. But you could easily swap the stocker for inspection.

Now for raw power Turbo is the way! Period. If you do not care about passing inspection or anything or carb exception then a turbo is the only way. But really, our car were designed to be grocery haulers here in the US an escort replacement if you will. Now an RS is something different, but we will never see it here. But we can only do our best to get em as close as we can. Nothing beats a good factory supported Turbo AWD. Everything we do is trial and error, what works on one car does not always work on the other. So if you are planning to go turob or any FI for that case be prepared to do alot of tunning and fabrication. Just my 2 cents. I have been planning my JRsc designed kit for a year now and finally have all the parts and just installing now and custom tunning.
