I took apart my gage cluster to install white face gages and when I got it all back together none of my gages work correctly. What the hell did I do or didn't I do and how the hell do I fix it. Thank you in advance.[:(!] [scratch] [???:)]

You have to remove the needles in order to install the white face gauges.....It's nearly impossible to get them back on right. What you'll need to do is go this:

and get your speedo right as well as your tach(if you have one) and so fourth.

with your Gas and temp gauge, you're gonna have to do your best estimate. I'd recommend that you fill up and then set the needle on F. For your Temp gauge, it's usually in the middle unless something major happens, so you'll need to get it to operating temp or take a drive and put the needle roughly in the middle.

Yea, I didn't diconnect the power at all. I think I will try pulling the speedo arm off, starting the car then putting the arm back on. It doesn't move until I go about 30 mph. I think my only other option would be to drive next to someone and putting on the speedo arm according to what their car says. While I have your attention, I installed the white fase gages and when I started the car nothing would move because the overlay was rubbing in the needels. Any advice forr that?

The speedo is the only one I have issues with (I got the rest as close as I could) I'm not totaly clear on how that link will help fix the speedo. I'm electronically retarded. Will that reset the speedo?

no..on that link it'll show you how to get to the computers reading of what your speedo is. What you'll need to do is go about 25-30mph or whatever your comfortable with and set the cruise. Then take your speedo needle and set it to what the computer says you're doing. Make sure you don't push the needle all the way down as it will stick to glow gauges. And then you should be OK.

BUT MAKE SURE YOU DON'T DO THIS WHILE YOUR IN HEAVY TRAFFIC!!!!IT WOULD BE BEST TO HAVE SOMEONE DRIVE THE CAR WHILE YOU'RE DOING THIS!!!!
