coolant level may set a code but it will not stop the car from starting. there is another issue. does it crank? or is it completely dead?
would ecu stop engine form starting with no coolant?
hi i have a crash damage 2006 focus sport im fixing up its got a 1.6 zetec.
theres a leek in the water pump and the engine is more or less completely dry.
what i wanna know is would the ecu sense this and stop the engine from starting?
because i cant get her to start up! also the engine warning light is on, could this be from the coolant aswel?
