try the bosch icon blades. i picked some up at advance auto, theyre one molded piece so u can use them in winter and summer, and not only do they perform perfectly...but they look sick too =D they should last you at least 2 yeas, AT LEAST. theyre about 15$ each, but trust me these things are worth it

My rear wiper has never worked right ... I've got a Mazda one to install now. I just need to get around to actually doing it. Hey, since it will take like 30 seconds ... maybe next smoke break. Sad thing is, the one I have is missing the cap that covers the nut, and I haven't had time to goto a Mazda dealer to get one yet. Oh well. Eventually.

Well something is deffinitely wrong with the stock one, cuz i've tried all different lengths and sizes and they're all the same. A swap seems like the only sensible option...
