When reinstalling the rear window regulator in my ford focus 2001 model, should we use any special glue to stick back the watersheild?

I'm a hack and just use duct tape. Ain't gotta be pretty because no one will ever see it anyways. And that tar stuff is more expensive and a PITA to remove.

Yeah duct tape should work fine. And I freakin HATE that tar stuff.
