well i am new to this site and i was woundering who is makeing the most on the stock 2,0 duratec turbo.

and what kit are you running?


i have a 2.0 duratec makeking 190 hp and 250 tq with the stock exhaust and at 10 psi.

i also have an exhaust cut out and the car made 235hp and 270 tq.



my mods are f2 turbo manifold,turbo,2.5 inch down pipe.
42 pound injectors.
2.5 inch electric exhaust cut out and stock exhaust, no cats.
2.5 inch innercooler pipes from turbo to innercooler and from innercooler to tb is 3 inch.
3 inch to turbo intake pipe.
dual port blowoff valve.
draw through set up.
aem wideband.
electronic boost controller.
lentech built auto trans.
x-cal 2 tuned at alternative performance on 94 octang.

that is it for now.


comming sooon fully built motor from f2 focus.

also most of the parts for this car came from f2 focus.

so if people dont have one better get one from f2 focus.

ther full kits are of good quality and price and lots of up grades.

Im no where close to making the most but here is my Dyno with the FocusSport Stage-2 kit at 8psi on an otherwise stock 2.0 Duratec still had the factory second cat.Since then i installed a flex back 2.5 exhaust and Exedy stage-2 clutch flywheel when i get the Eboost2 im going to up the boost to 11psi and see how it does.

alternative performance is in detroit.

it is 45 min from the tunnel in windsor.
you are closer to steeda.ca.

i was goin to get it tuned by steeda.ca but backed out only because it was 3 hours away from me.

in the feture i would like to get tom to tune it usein a blowthrough set up.

i think the way i had my cold air set up had an effect on it.
i have changed it now and i think the numbers have evened out.

i have not had any problems with this set up.

it took the tuner a hole day to tune the car.

i dont know much about tuning so that is out of my hands for now.

lookin to get the pro racer package then learn to tune.

Looks like you are into heavy mods, so you should learn about tuning too.

If you get the package buy the intro tuner guide they sell too, it's worth every $0.01. It will get you started on the right foot.

The SCT software if great, easy to learn. SCT also hosts a chat room for thier dealers and those that purchase the ProRacer kit so you get a lot for your $$$.

(Just check with SCT to make sure that they still have this forum open to non-dealers, as every now and then one of the ProRacer members gets out of hand and they threaten to close access to non-dealers.)

FF just opened a general tuning forum too, so you can always get some help here too.

I'll let you know the numbers on my F2 kit once I get my car back. I kinda blew up some piston rings.

Nice to see another nice focus near metro detroit! Lidio has tuned at least a few other focuses in the area. i know you're not actually in Michigan but you're cose enough. Check out the "Michigan People" thread in the regional forums.

His hp/tq is like that due to the stock exhaust.

The cat is restrictive and thats what causes the tq to climb high like that... but it also causes it to fall off quicker as well..... not to mention he has an automatic.

fully built atx.
i can foot brake it to 3500 rpm, by then i am in boost.
i dont have no cats, it is just the stock exhaust with a 2.5 inch exhaust cut out.
it still spools very quick though with that set up.
when i get my built motor i well do a full 2.5 exhaust.

i know it is not a manual trans but the atx will allways run the same down the track,depending on the track and your set up.

so there is more turboed focus that live near me,,sweet.

I'll let you know my numbers when I get em. I'm atx. I'll be pushing 8-10 psi.

The FS project car is making just under 400whp on a 2.0, that's the most I've seen.

not for nothing but im glad to see f2 getting some good support i feel like there is a lot of negative feelings about them and it scares people off,
im just glad to have good vendors for our cars basically [wiggle]

btw those are some nice numbers, cant wait to see what she puts down when shes built [strongman] (sorry if its a he lol)

I am soon to be boosted. Hopefully by summer but we will see. Still looking at F2 or FS...just don't know which to go with.

i would go with Ricardo at f2.
when i buoght my car back in 2005 i new i wanted to turbo it but did not really see any kits out there.
and from that time till now i had benn talken to ricardo about a turbo kit.
i waited a long time for it but it payed off.

i did not want a kit that every one else has,,i like to be different.

and for tnfocus if i were you i would be thinking about getting the trans built.
it will not hold for long.
if you really keep the boost to 5 to 7 psi you should be good and also make suer that who ever tunes it sets the correct tq table for the trans.
the tunner can follow the ford focus rs tq table and that should help too.
i got that from lentech auotmatics trans tech support.
