[Jonson?!]

Hi,

My '05 zx3 is making a weird, high-pitched whistle from the front of the car. The sound starts at 25 mph and seems to wind up with speed, so I thought it could be related to the front disc brakes yet braking at any speed doesn't seem to affect the sound. It's barely audible with the windows up, but it's loud with the windows down, so who knows for how long it's been going on. My car has 85k miles.

Any clues on what it could be?

...i'm guessing that it could be something as simple as the wind blowing through your grill or your bumper creating somewhat of a whisle.

it doesn't sound "windy" if that makes any sense. it kinda sounds like a noisy belt sound, but since it changes with speed I'm assuming it's not anything related to the belts.

I thought it could be some sort of bearing, but I thought bearings made more of a low humming sound rather than a high-pitched whistle
