It's hard to describe but I hear a howling , whining sound when I turn left or right , mostly when the car is cold .Not so much when warmed up .
Anyone had this happen to their Focus , mine is a 2006 . I suspect cv joints .
Thanks.

More likely to be worn wheel bearings.
CV joints are easy to check; turn full lock and accelerate in a tight circle. Duff CV joints will make a loud clunking noise if badly worn.
