Sorry Tom, but a long time ago you did a tune for me. I don't expect you to remember, but just in case:

Turbocharged single cam Focus. You tuned it to 13 psi and said that the current turbo was out of steam. Which turbo might you have recommended?

I've decided to work on it again... :D

Also, Tom (or anyone else), if I have 2.5" pipe going to 3" MAFS, what size pipe do I need to go from the MAFS to the throttle body?

Thanks

Loving the south, for sho! But there is minimal activity in my area...I'll have to start cruising up to NorCar for Focus stuff.

So, 2.5" from IC to the MAFS (which would be 3") and from there, 3" to throttle body.

Right?

The way mine is setup is 2.5" from the IC to the 3" MAF tube, then 2.5" to the TB with a 3" add on to the 2.5" piping. Here is a pic of my piping (made by Tom):

That pipe in the middle is from the 3" MAF tube (not displayed) to the TB. Notice the bigger opening on the end (3") that goes to the TB. So the only 3" tube in the setup is the MAF tube. Here's another pic to give you an idea of what it looks like:

Why is it okay to do a mid-flow change like that?

So Tom, I was cleaning my garage and found an old nitrous kit I bought from a fellow Focus guy a long time ago. I was wondering if you would re-tune my car if I were to install a nitrous shot on top of the existing turbo and nix the larger turbo idea.

Any thoughts on this?
