I'm getting low temperature alarms with a 2009 SE. The housing is very hard to see, I think I don't have a sensor which would mean I get to use the cheaper housing but I can't see it well enough to be sure.

Any tips on making sure I buy the correct one. Oh what is the OEM temperature? I see 180 and 211 versions. I live in northern Michigan if it matters.

Thanks,

Now that I have the replacement housing w/o the sensor in hand I can tell for sure that my 2009 SE is sensor free. I hope to change it Friday w/o too much disassembly. Apologies for misspelling temperature in thread starter.

Thermostat is changed. I bought a couple extended length needle nose pliers, one straight, one 90° from harbor fright. I removed the antifreeze recovery tank and the serpentine belt to allow for room to operate. I'm glad those spring clamps will latch open. It wasn't fun but it is done. I'll have heat this winter.
