Fernie, BC. That's right Fernie, we get some 40 feet of snow in the winter, makes for some great winter rally driving. 15" Kuhmo studded tires and 8 foot snow banks help to keep me on the road.

There's an art to 'Canadian Drifting'..... he didn't have it that day.....lol

Yeah, the Japonese think they know how to "drift" with their supped up cars. We did it with style in beater cars in the winter!

Yeah if you can drift in a '78 Chrysler Cordoba with those truck style John Deer mudflaps and the grandparents in the back, you got it made!!

i got a bad day.. i try to put my new front bumper today, its wont fit... really not! if i want it to fit, a have to a major cut into the frame, it just too much... Plus, it will void my warranty :(

i will try to return the bumper monday and order an EvoIII front bumper :S

You still have warranty on your 2001? Must be extended warranty. Get the dealership's bodyshop to put on the bumper, it will have some sort of warranty if they do it.

Almost any dramatic bumper (even the EVO I would imagine, better check that out) will require some modifications behind there. I got a friend what went with a stock RS bumper from european-parts and he had to cut some major steel out of the front, grinding and all that.... it's the way it is.....

i buy my focus (has a new...) at the beginning of 2002, the builder warranty finish in 2005 and the extended warranty finish in 2008[hihi].

btw its my baby, i dont want to destroy it be the inside to make it look good on the outside (like implant for women[joke])

Yeah you got a point but sometimes it just has to be done.

I would make sure you contact whoever your buying that EVO kit off and ask them how much 'modification' is going to be needed to get it to fit.

Yeah, sometimes it does need to be done, but I would only go to a certain point. Don't want to start screwing around with the frame and support peices too much.

Dual exhaust on a focus isn't the best idea, you got no 'extra' gains from it besides looks and 'rice' comments. Nice to have another 'Canadian' on the board here..... Welcome to FF.com also.... [thumb]

Hey thanks for the welcome i'm thinking duals cause i'm not really looking for performance more less sound and looks,my focus is an outo so i just can't picture it being fast the tranny is so sloppy...

Duals will definitely give you looks, mostly bad. It's HUGE in europe (duals on a focus) but over there they got way more power under the hoods (RS, Cosworth, etc)....

Two big fartcans hanging off the back of the bumper looks ghey. I seen a guy on here do it 'tastefully' with a SVT and it looked really good, mirror image of the single setup. Nice stuff.

Sarcasm, ummm yeah I am definitely 'feeling' it man......

Anyway, the reason duals on a 4 banger get such a 'bad rep' is the fact that they don't do anything but add 'noise' and 'looks' and don't add anything to the performance side of things, like you mentioned about, your not going for performance so yeah, go with the duals then. All I know is duals on a 4 banger are almost 100% of the time called "rice"...... it's the way it is. To each there own though, if you like it, get it, it's your car.

Not trying to bash your ideas or anything, but I am experienced with modding and along with the majority of the veterans on here, they will all agree with me when I say what I said. Of course duals on a mustang don't look ghey but they also have a purpose on there, on a little 4 banger, all it is is 'bling'.....
