I own a 2012 SEL MK3 and a 2014 Stang.

Both are at the stealership. I cannot believe it took two weeks for a damn rearview mirror replacement and now they have to remove the entire headliner to fix the sunshade. They will have the mirror done today and the I have to return to have the sunshade repaired another time. WTF and the transmission (second time) runs like crap even after TSB update.

Stang....control arm issue, TSB related Car has 2,000 miles. The dashboard is by air bag aluminum applique is lifting off and the rear truck hatch (emblem) is ungluing from the factory installation. The do not have time today to work on Stang and the part has to be ordered AFTER it is looked at (understandable) but then ANOTHER trip back.

I'll be happy to open up a new case for both vehicles. Please send me a PM with the following:
-Please verify your best daytime phone number & dealer
-Focus mileage
-Mustang VIN & additional information on the control arm concern

I told the parts changers at Midway Ford to clean the headliner after they marked it up with their unclean hands and as soon as they do that and fix the rearview mirror I am recovering the car. Maybe Doral Lincoln can do the headliner. Wish I could pay the difference and replace it with Black one instead of White.

The Stang, crapola I have no clue what stealership to take it. One is incompetent, the other joyrides vehicles. I would have to travel 50 miles to the next dealer. Lucky I have Rental car coverage.....I guess I am lucky to have not one car but two cars with bad luck. It is a shame. I love both of them.

Wow! Good luck buddy! I feel your pain! There's one thing I'm sure about it: after owning a 2005 Escape Limited, a 2008 F150 FX4 (Lobo for the MX market) and a 2013 Focus... I never going back to Ford again.

I've owned a 96 Probe, 2001 Mustang GT, 96 Escort, 2002 Focus, and now my 13 SE and have never had any major problems with any of them. My next car will be a Ford as well.

I'm in a very similar boat at the moment, Marine. Stained up headliner due to lackadaisical handling on the part of my dealer.

Good luck with the on site Ford service reps, They like to tell you they'll help but when it comes down to it, aren't very keen on following up on private messages to actually help a guy.

Your thinking YOU are the very center and total meaning of the Universe might be a part of the problem. Most folks have a life beyond FF. I would guess you expect them all to be here every moment day and night to address you concerns?

So far the Ford employees who come here to be helpful have been good. True they did not answer my own question the very same day, But I realize they have other duties, and also time off of work. Even vacation days ... Heaven forbid! LOL

The reps working this site have been very helpful for many members, the current one (Meagan) has been particularly active.

The largest problem is that they are contact people who have no power on their own to actually DO anything directly. They're limited to providing a coordinating function by contacting other reps on the customer's behalf. Getting the right people involved in each case can be very helpful, but sometimes the ball is dropped along the way or particular area reps are not as helpful as others.

Follow up with whoever you've been in contact with is a good idea whenever an expected response isn't received. Staying silent & just wondering what's happening can let your individual situation go without action if there's a communication breakdown anywhere in the system.

Here we go with the "you don't know ME" crap.

She knows you by what you posted, which is to come in here after little more than 1 month as a member, trashing the Ford reps. That's not good form, bro. Not good at all.

Hey guys,

I was out sick for a couple days & under the weather all last week (I'm also not here on the weekends), so I've been playing catch-up. I'm also on a handful of other forums & have many customers I'm working with in my inboxes. I've reached out to just about everyone in my inbox - save the one I'm working on right now. Sorry about the delays, guys! :) I'm back in action.

Meagan has always been very helpful. Mario has been extremely helpful. I just do not have anymore time to waste in my professional career. I have been inundated since Friday and this is my busy season. I retract my request. Until something that is life threatening, and I HAVE to have it repaired, then I will. I just do not have the time. My other car, the Stang is new, if it fails and it most likely will due to the knock in the control arm, though I am not a parts changer, so I cannot predict the future lol, I will have it towed. There are no competent dealers in my area. THEY ALL SUCK. I did like Doral Lincoln, but they will not service a Ford for warranties.
