I have a rare model 2000 ford focus. I need to find the torque specs for the motor mounts, pressure plate, bellhousing etc... does anyone know where i can get these online for free? please help. most VIN numbers are 8 or 3 but mine is a Y due to the limited edition which is why I am having problems finding the specs and or parts i need

Are you sure you're looking at the right position in the VIN? The engine code is the 8th position in the VIN. In the North American market it will be either P or 3 for your model year. I think you are looking at the 10th position over for Y which is the year that the car was built.

Also I have moved this to "General Technical Chat" since it doesn't involve any type of performance upgrade questions or information.

Never heard of the "Y" engine code for the Focus. Ford doesn't even list it as well. Send me a picture of your VIN along with a picture of your engine bay.

it is a 3.

The code is a 3. My mechanic told me he ordered parts for the y model. I have not seen the car since purchased. Just got it back yesterday. I am going to do the work myself. I need the torque specs for everything including the clutch and flywheel and all 3 motor mounts. Thanks for the help. Also would like to know the best and cheapest way to add HP.
