Who has them and what do you have?

Also what is the recommended offset for the 08 Focus. I bought some wheels with a 40mm offset and the rub into the brakes, stocks are 52.5mm and was sure if a 10mm or 15mm spacer was best.

Highly recommend getting longer wheel studs for ANY length spacers...

FWIW - offset refers to the rim position vs. the hub face where the wheel mounts, lower offset would move the rim outwards - often with more brake clearance.

Specific brake clearance depends on the style of the rim & there isn't a common measurement to determine fitment there.

forget who but somebody here tested and said the max spacer you can do on a Mk3 is 5mm without getting longer wheel studs. of course this would vary with different rims, always make sure you get proper engagement (six full rotations of the lugnut?) and can torque properly.

It's gotta vary with different wheels by a little, for reference my stock SVT wheels JUST get full engagement of the stock lug nuts (top of stud at end of threads - threads recessed in lugs)

So yeah, 5mm would work but even then it's less engagement than stock.
