First post. Recent heavy rains 'forced' my wife to drive her Focus through some standing water. Couple weeks later and the rear wheel bearing is shot. I have the Haynes manual and figured it wouldn't be a tough job but I have run into a problem. When I took the rear drum off, the bearing was already in peices so I figured that would save me the trouble of removing it. I was wrong. The outer part of the bearing is stuck inside the drum and half of the inner side of the bearing is stuck on the axle. Anyone have any tips on how to remove these? I sprayed the outer with some PB and beat the heck of it with a screwdriver/hammer but I don't want to damage anything further. As far as removing the inner part I have no idea.
