I have a 2000 Ford Focus ZTS with stock rims that look like these on this car here:

The manufacturer says I should use 195/60/15

I was wondering if I might be able to go up to a 205. Does anybody know if I can use a slightly wider tire with these rims or am I stuck with 195?

you can go to a 205 tires with those rims....and it looks good too. you can also go a little shorter with the sidewall too if you wanted.

cool, thanks a lot.
just fyi that car isnt my car, i just quick found a car with the same rims as mine.

here is a pic of my car:

from what ive read a 205/55/15 is the best match i can get to actual diameter.

but i have one last question:

i just put new back tires on and they are 195/60/15's. Would it screw up my handling (or anything else for that matter) if i were to put 205's on the front. i also plan on rotating the tires over time, so would it screw anything up to have 205's in the back then while i have 195's in the front?

again, thanks for the help!
