doing an engine rebuild for a turbo setup. Just wondering what kind of oil to use with eagle rods and je pistons, anyone got an idea of what is best for that kind of setup?

I am located in NC , I use 5w40 Syn in winter and 5w50 Syn in summer , with a new engine I wouldnt do Syn and stay with a STD oil 40 or 50 wt

WATCH OUT, if what ive been talking with tom today is correct, he MISSED the "n't" next to would so it would be WOULDNT USE SYNTH in a new engine

Also with the oil issue, we were wondering will this new engine w/ stage 2 FI crower cams would need a tunning or not?
