There is tine gap between the pipe (in red circle) and engine. Is it a big problem? There isn't any noise in engine right now. How can I seal it?

thanks a lot. It is a copper pipe, around 2cm diameter, at the right side of engine.
I asked the garage. they told me that pipe is connecting the engine to exhaust system. Because there is no big noise, I don't need to fix it right now. But I still don't know what it's name is and function.

Sounds like your talking about the EGR valve pipe between the exhaust manifold and the valve.

Thats the EGR pipe. If you have a SPI engine (which Im sure you do having a LX) its known to break and cause an exhaust leak. If you have a slight crack and a little noise in it now, take it to an exhaust shop and have it welded. The longer you let it go, the louder the noise will get and the bigger the break will get.
