I have a problem with the CC. It does not work.

No CC indicator light on engine start.

CC is on a stalk and not on the wheel.

Auto transmission

Checked all three brake lights for proper operation.

Checked brake pedal switch connection pig tail.

Owner's manual does not say which fuses control CC.

Tried switching CC to "on" position with engine running. No indicator light.

I assume that no light means no electricity is reaching the control.

Where are the fuse(s) and which one(s) do I check?

Stock '05 cruise on a stalk?

Need an '05 Owner to confirm that. (earlier & later models have in on the wheel for sure)

My owner's manual says that fuse 53 controls CC for stick and not auto.
I think your mis-reading it. That note is about power for back-up lights. Fuse 53 is the primary power source for CC in both ATX and MTX.

CC is primarily powered by fuse 53 and is also dependent on power from fuses 42 and 61. Sorry I did not ID this previously.

Here is a 2004 CC wire diagram for ATX. The 2004 diagram should be/might be how your 2005 is wired.
