I have to go into winter mode this week and take the 17's off.
Before I mount my new winter tires on my stock wheels I have to bead blast the corrosion off the inside beads because they are leaking.
When I'm done, I can paint them any color I want.
Here's the question: Black, silver (like my car), bronze or gun metal?

Black wheels only look good in the winter, IMO, and they look better than most others, so I say black, but change it back to something else come summer.

I already have 17" summer wheels and tires.

I was leaning toward black too using cheap dollar store paint.
If it gets a chip in it, big deal, paint it again.

you might want to look into Duplicolor wheel coating.

I used the duplicolor bronze wheel coating on those 16's ... stuff is more durable than normal spraypaint, resistant to salt & other chemicals, etc...

I did not clear them, so if they do get chipped I can touch them up very easily.

I have duplicolor on my summer wheels and yup the stuff is great.
By me, It's almost $6 a can.
Theses are winter wheels so if I can buy a $2 worth of paint I'm happy.

Bought a bunch of $1 flat black spray bombs at Dollar General.
They're just winter wheels.

I'll be snow tractioning with my new tires by the end of the weekend.
