Is it important the brake ABS as you said that the fuse 46 control ABS and traction control?
Would it cause problem in a long term?

Also,do you know if it's normal that the shifter is hard to shift?

I wouldn't do it.
The brake, ABS, and TC lights will all be illuminated on the dash if you pull that fuse.
More importantly, you'll also lose the brake proportioning, and end up with a 50/50 F/R split.
Not too safe to run on the street that way.

Best bet is to kill the TC with a tune (unless you have a late build 04 model),
or install a "kill switch":

BTW, while I highly appreciate your faith in me,
I'm sure there's plenty of other members that can answer this question as well.[;)]

it does but only when it is switch off so its much easier to switch it back on then putting the fuse in and out.

sucks having an 04 [?|]

just do a kill switch and mount it in an accessible place so you can enable/disable easily and at will.

So why bother having the winter package if i want to get rid of the ABS and traction control later on?
[rolleyes]

I have heard that one guy here just cut the TC wires and still live to talk about it.
His car is on sale however.[:)]
