so I wake up this morning to find a pool of anti freeze under my car....leasking from water pump so it looks as if that went bad....anybody know how hard that job may be...i will prolly just take it to the shop on monday but I was just wondering....

this is not some little job, and should be done by a certified mechanic.

no ish i figured its not a little job...but the water pump on this car seems oddly accessible and thats why I'm asking....even if it isnt I;m sure i could do it as I have done large repair jobs on cars before....but in this case I dont feel like actually doing it, I am just interested to know how serious if a job it may be....

serious...well its not "that" easy, it will take a few hours and if you have never done a timing belt before i can bet that the timing will be off, if you screw up, your lucky that you won't blow your motor...thats a plus. but if you screw up the timing, put everything back on, go and drive to see you have even less power than you do now, i think you will be pretty annoyed.
