So Im waiting for my timing belt tools to arrive for a Zx3 Dohc timing belt replace- and decide to change out the water pump in the meantime- pretty sure its the original from 124 thou miles back-aw geez.. I think its stuck. How do I get this heffer out? If I pull the whole cover off is it a sure shot to knock it out or am I looking at buying a new housing. This timing belt replace is starting to creep up to my cars net worth.[unsure]

Tapping around the edges to break a gasket seal loose is almost always required (plastic tip hammer). Once you start hearing the rap as it comes loose somewhere & it's not a solid thump you know you're making progress.

(One trick if you can reach it well enough)
