I am just hrowing a quesion out there. i know there are wastegates in various sizes. how do i determine how big of a wastgate i go with? 40 or 50mm ? is bigger better?

No, you can have to big to where it will overcorrect itself.

I know many have 38mm and make 350hp and controll boost just fine.

So you shouldnt need much more than 38mm - 44mm.

i using 38mm Tial with 550-600Hp....

the wastegate all depends on what size turbo your running so if you tell me what turbo your running i can tell you the right size gate. twin 38s is good for 650 any more and at low boost you will get boost creep
