I ran out of fluid on a cold spell in New england and replaced but washer not working in front or rear. I also do not seem to hear the pump. Any reason the pump would go right when I ran out of fluid, like small amount of ice build up or something. If it was a bit of ice, wouldn't I still hear the motor/pump? Just wondering if I should wait for a warm day or just go ahead and replace the pump. Also, the manual doesn't list a washer fuel but read in a forum that the wiper fuse is the same as the washer fuse and wipers work. Thanks for any help.

Rick,
There are several recent threads having to do with 'frozen' or non-working washer pumps. Some can hear their pump running and some dont (I can). Im in New England too.

On your 2000 the reservoir/pump is mounted in/under the drivers side front fender.
