ok so i have a 2004 Focus SE 2.0L Zetec with just over 40,000 miles.everything works fine and it runs good,i just want to upgrade to get more power and possibly better mpg.i was thinkin about a cold air kit but beyond that i dont know whats out there.can anybody help me out?

^^ thats usually the first thing everyone does, then the exhaust. You could also just do the exhaust and put a drop in panel in for the time being.


get ready for a barrage of ideas on how to spend your money though, lol

That's what I did. I removed the snorkel (not sure if it made a difference) from the air box, droped in a K&N panel filter and saved my money for the Magnaflow. (Actually I didn't save shit! I bought my Magnaflow with some of my tax return money! Hooray for the U.S. Government! g00t! [woot])

Cold air intake/short ram
Tune
Those three things will give you added performance and better mileage.Problem is,once you get a taste....

ITG Dropin, remove the resonator, port your stock tb.
OBX Race header, 2.25 flex, catback of choice
UDP, and sleestak's ignition wires in the FS column :)
