Purchased a 2005 ZX5 a couple weeks ago. It has 242000 km.
There is a loud vibration when idling in park. When in the car the sound is horribly loud. The dash is rattling the trunk is rattling so much that it is visibly moving. Outside the car the sound is only really noticeable at the rear hatch and also somewhat from the exhaust. Sound's kind of like my old diesel tractor. WuWuWuWuWu. The sound can not be heard from the under the hood.
There are no trouble codes.
I have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, oil and filter.
What could it be? I thought maybe the exhaust was binding somewhere on the body but I checked that today and there is free play at the hangers.
As for fuel consumption I am getting roughly 400km to a tank highway driving.

Vibration most likely motor mount(s). With motor idling and in park or parking brake on, use a block of wood under the oil pan and hydraulic jack to gently raise the engine 1-2 inches. If the vibration goes away it's motor mount(s).

Thank You Milton!!!
OK so I just watched a video showing the vibration sound of a bad mount inside the cab and this is exactly the sound I am hearing. How do I determen which mount is causing the problem?
