I'm considering buying a wevted hood. I really would like to keep my engine cool, but at the same time I'm very worried about egtting some parts under the hood wet.

Has anyone ever heard of having this problem?

Up in the north east we have been having a ton of rain lately heavy heavy rain for days.

And what about driving in the rain will it drip into the vents and burn on the valve cover and create smoke that is hard to see through?

sorry for the noob question. i just don't want to ruin my engine.
