Hey all,

I have a 2014 sedan with front rotors and rear drums. I was wondering if anyone has tested any of the aftermarket discs and or pads for the MK3? Improved stopping distances? Less brake fade? Are they worth it? Are you better off buying Autozone blanks and hawk pads for example?

I was looking around on TireRack when I grabbed my RA mudflaps and thought I would ask for opinions.

I have, but nothing fancy.

Napa rotors (NB 48880931) and premium ceramic pads (SS SS8248X) in the rear. Advance Auto Parts rotors (YH324571) and premium ceramics in the front (PNAD1044)

So far I think the front pads make more dust - but it's quite likely that I just use them more.

Side Note: I replaced all 4 rotors because all 4 bearings were bad causing horrible grooves and irregular wear on my pads (and thus uneven wear on the rotors). It just seemed easier than resurfacing them. Plus, I'm almost at 100k.
