How about this for nothingburger brain clarity?

Hey, STUPID, does this sound like a normal flu or pneumonia season we are having???????

F-cking lemmings. Now the CDC is reporting that people are calling asking if it is possible to truly inject disinfectant into themselves. True Trump voters.

"Public health officials in Aurora, Colorado, ordered a Walmart supercenter to shut down Thursday after a 72-year-old Walmart worker, her 63-year-old husband, and a 69-year-old third-party security contractor for the company died from coronavirus."

My dad is 63 and works full-time. 63 is not that old.

This shit kills family's. This is not normal.

A nothingburger for jackasses. No other way to put it. People with caring hearts do not devalue human life like that.

I have a wildly mixed situation myself. I have the heart/pulmonary issue (second hand smoke/double heart bypass) that pushes you over the edge. However I have always had remarkable resistance to disease of any type, it runs in the family line. No flu, no colds, no nothing while everybody around me will have it. I flat never get sick. ???

So WTF. I can't wear a facemask, the pulmonary issue puts me into hyperventilation within 60 seconds using one (you are partly rebreathing your CO2 doing that), and I begin to get chestpain from heart in 2 minutes or less. No need to push that issue. I still go out occasionally to get things done needed.

I could die if something goes just right (or wrong). I look at it as in don't go out unnecessarily but if I have to then it is in the hands of somebody above me (as it has been for the previous 66 years). I think about it but I will not let it rule me. Frankly, I worry about the wife more, she is stubborn and undaunted, a real Texican spitfire that would set fire to the earth if she had to, but has weak lungs that can go bad easily; she was a many month early preemie baby and they have lung problems later in life. I worry about her a lot.

It would be an utter b-tch to die simply from going to Walmart...........and the world would still creakily go on, I wonder what kind of world it will be?

I worry about my wife too, she had an un-diagnosed lung infection from an injury that led to pneumonia (right side) a couple of years ago, and needed lots of heavy antibiotics to cure it, so she is in a risk-group, as am I at 69. I worry about being a vector to her. I wear a mask and carry sanitizer to do all the public visits to stores that are still open to get things we can't order on-line. My mom is still going strong at 95, and lives in an assisted living home (worn-out knees and one hip from bowling for many years). Her place is locked-down, but even though the staff wears PPE and washes frequently, they still come from outside and are young, so may catch the virus and not know it until too late.

I didn't expect to live this long... car racing, other risky behaviors... heck, by the time I joined the armed forces I thought I'd already lived a "full life", and before I had kids I thought 40 would be plenty good. But that doesn't mean I choose to live a life that hurts others... the opposite. I've always been a fan of "freedom", but that always meant "responsibility". Freedom without responsibility is worthless, just chaos and evil. My understanding of living a life of value and having worthwhile character means you live by the "golden rule" (pretty much the opposite of our current POS POTUS, and his lackeys).

I'll defer to someone that is an expert:
(29:38) "They [flu and COVID] are similar in prevalence and death rates."
(50:24) "Look at Italy in 2017: hospital systems overwhelmed, people dying, overwhelmed system from the flu. This happens from the flu."
Where are the extra deaths? The death rate keeps getting even more infintesimal as the testing increases. But do give me a real statistical comparison that makes your case. I see lots of "yeah, well maybe it'll be reallly reallly bad herp derp" caved-in head hooey from Rip Van Winkles still stuck in the tragicomically inaccurate estimates from about six weeks ago.

Speaking of which...

I suspect there are still dopes here clinging to the debunked "exponential growth" silliness. For shame!

The Democrats and their mainstream media allies are treating the far more CREDIBLE allegation of sexual ASSAULT by Joe Biden much differently than the uncorroborated accusation against Justice Kavanaugh (nobody remembered 'Dr Blassy-Ford' ever mentioning it until Kavanaugh was nominated compared to Tara Reade who filed a complaint at the time which can be verified if Biden opens his records). Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer and every other Democrat told us we "have to believe woman"...apparently what those FRAUDS really meant was "we have to believe only complaints against conservatives".

PS: It's not looking good for the hierarchy of the FBI in regard to what they did to General Mike Flynn....hopefully those who SET HIM UP him will face justice...

It really is 'unchartered scary times ahead' when our media is so BIASED and DISHONEST, our FBI can send a 33 year military veteran and innocent man to jail for political purposes and Roger Stone is denied a new trial despite being convicted by a BIASED jury forewoman ....Very Scary indeed...

More Reilly ineptitude............uncorroborated accusation......,.......there was more than one person claiming there and that alone corroborated the statements, look up the definition of the word, 'to support or back up as in a statement'.

With the use of capped buzzwords like you do Reilly, I think you are a Russian troll. You are not American at all. You take way too much time defending people who have known committed crimes (with Russia) and too much time bashing anything you can to bring down US government. You're just a bit too much out of the loop as well like you follow things remotely rather than being right here to me. You miss way too many differentiating details in your rants. Don't make me start sculling your posts.

Others demanding 'real statistical comparison(s)' while giving vague 'patterns' and 'averaged' approximational guesses as if they carry the same weight. No statistical reality there at all. Stop it, my sides are hurting.

'debunked "exponential growth" silliness.'

You have to grasp the english. Some can't. That chart shows the exact opposite which is exponential DROP in growth, or the exact opposite of the other side, i.e., growth, which makes it exponential as well, just negative in that case. Any student of math could apply numbers to either side to find it. Maybe the degree you think is invalid but the statement you made is as well.

'(50:24) "Look at Italy in 2017: hospital systems overwhelmed, people dying, overwhelmed system from the flu. This happens from the flu." '

You just compared Italy to the entire world. A wildly unequal comparison and devoid of any statistic, or, only what you accept as evidence. ??????? Why would we accept what you say is unacceptable? The line is so picked out of context as to be unuseable.

'(29:38) "They [flu and COVID] are similar in prevalence and death rates." '

Opinion only, you reduced it to that by being devoid again of your absolutely needed statistics. I can find 25 other doctoral opinions that say otherwise. My own for instance, he does not look at them as being nearly the same at all. I have already presented how the CDC says the numbers could be wildly off.

And you'd be wise not to hope covid is as prevalent as flu, by extension of the word you will get more than you bargained for when it begins to come back year after year.

Comparing flu to Covid is a fool's game, there can never be any data comparison. Anyone who takes old flu data and tries to compare it to what's happening now is an idiot. There is a huge, enormous, glaring difference between Covid and the flu... the country does not lock-down for the flu. If every time flu season started, we closed all schools, restaurants, and "non-essential" businesses, and a significant number of people wore masks and stayed away from each other, the numbers of flu cases would be tiny and the number of flu deaths would be infinitesimal. We do not treat the flu like we are treating Covid... every effort is underway to limit the death rate of Covid, but the only thing we do for the flu is recommend vaccine shots for the old and weak.

Thus, people are catching less of every kind of contagious disease right now, due to lock-down, and the number of ALL disease deaths is down.

However, it's very clear that there is cynical disinformation campaign going on now, and it's NOT being done by the MSM (although they are hyping the crap out of it, for many good reasons, as well as market shares of viewers). The disinformation is coming right from the sociopath at the top, who has done and said everything he can to kill as many morons and gullible people as he can... he clearly doesn't care that they are a big part of his own base. The reason is as ugly as the worst sci-fi dystopia, but the "genius" at the top and his wealthy cronies (oil-men, Russian mobsters, ex-patriot CEOs) must see this as a golden opportunity to reduce population numbers. The Vegas/Dubai crowd probably sees the death rate as a great opportunity to get rid of a few "inconvenient people".

Please show me where the evidence of this assertion is.

Keep in mind that we're abiding by your "not all deaths reported yet!" stuff for the last two weeks, so ignore that.

AMC: I assure you I'm not a 'Russian troll'....which has become another leftist 'talking point' even though we have far more to fear from China.....but with your name calling of everybody that disagrees with you....I think you are a nasty A-HOLE. (I wrote the entire word but it was censored...just like Bloomberg censors negative news about the Chicoms.)

If you believe that the credible claims against Biden are getting the same news coverage as the un-credible claims against Kavanaugh....you aren't just a nasty A-Hole....but a PHONY one too.

And yes...the FBI tried to 'get' General Flynn for the sole reason that he supported Trump....it's all coming out now...but you won't hear much about it on CNN, MSNBC etc....

Why are the Democrats refusing to support efforts to hold China accountable for the havoc they have wrought on the world? Is it because totalitarian minds stick together or because so many Democrat elites are getting/have gotten rich from the outsourcing of the American manufacturing and middle class jobs to China?

It's pretty ironic that the most OPINIONATED guy on this entire forum calls myself and others out for our opinions.......and, as usual, he doesn't answer whether the MSM is giving the same coverage to the claims against Biden that they did those against Kavanaugh (what happened to all those leftists who said "I believe her"?).....I guess he doesn't want to answer so he 'deflects' and calls people names.......

You lost me Reilly at democrat 'talking points' They have never been smart enough to do them like you, the 3 words together being an oxymoron. While you're at it ask Trump what he will do with that $30 billion payment due to Bank of China from his hotel in the next couple weeks. Ask Jared about his billion from them as well. Your talk linking dems to China is so.........Russian troll. You either are smart enough or not to grasp that both the elite thing and the outsourcing of all jobs to China is a rich mans' thing and look at which party is mostly those? Too stupid to grasp the fire is at YOUR house while screaming fire. Flynn DID talk to the Russians and by his own word, I see you missed that part. But then you miss pretty much everything most important to your life. Like the fact that the whole 'elite' flogging thing you do is how Communist Russia got started. Making your pushing of it bolshevik talk. That actually puts you on our side............according to your own dumb-ss words! (shaking head sadly)

Go eat your borscht, commie. Anybody backing Trump should be in jail for at the minimum being monumentally stupid, we are all paying the price for it now, just like when every jack-ss on the planet breaks rules or normality to try to twist them into something bad. You who voted for him mostly did so out of striking back at a world that worked in a logical fashion, you never could do that and now you are out to do all the destruction you can before you go. The Bible even speaks of you as men seeking to work all forms of iniquity. You twist the knife and twist it again and again. It makes you feel better. Your drug. I call you out for what you are. If you are not Russian then you need to be getting paid by them. Not even smart enough to do that either.

Hey post # 2752........

You don't do graphs and charts well do you? The two columns on the left are worthless as the covid has not been added to all other diseases anywhere on the chart. The middle chart is polluted as it contains ALL death including from old age and accidents as presented. Therefore not a true count for the question at hand.

The last column is incomplete as well to make a conclusion off of, the footnote (2) is missing to qualify the death type(s), ergo, the numbers are worthless.

I tried to call attention to reality, but as we know, a few are always resistant to it...

HAPPY: you are obviously someone who is desperately combing through things looking for any scrap that allows you to hold onto your faux-reality, and as such, I did mistakenly help you out. I wrote that "the number of ALL disease deaths is down", when I meant to say "the number of ALL other disease deaths is down" (that is to say; disease deaths other than Covid deaths, relative to past years over the same months)... I thought I had made that clear from the context of the whole rest of the post. I see that being one of the deluded people, you will try to use anything you can to continue to believe your fantasies, so you can continue to falsely justify your self-serving, irresponsible behavior toward others. You know, being a troll is NOT a high attainment... it just means no one respects your thoughts, because no one gains any advantage or information if they do... listen to the real informed people, not the sociopath creeps (like our POS POTUS and The Five), because then you will be in a better position to make choices in life that actually help you gain, and give you the chance to be freed from under-the-thumb of the overlords.

Interesting article. Just goes to show what a stupid idea it was to reduce taxes on the super wealthy. They are partying like it's 1999, of course, their motto has always been "get it while you can"... no concern for the future, that type thinks in terms of quarter-years, and their "long-view" is 5 years. Not the type to plan for sustainable living on the planet. We can thank the conservative SCOTUS, led by Scalia (likely burning in hell as we speak) for Citizens United that paved the way for increased corruption of all our congressmen, especially the many fascists in the GOP, who have always favored the rich and powerful... that's why they pushed for "money is speech", so they could take more graft. The other problem is lack of campaign finance reform... two good senators championed it, but both are out now.

It's pretty obvious why anyone connected with Amazon (Bezos and his board) are going to rake in money hand-over-fist. Amazon stock is up ~$29-36 today (bouncing around like a well endowed stripper, from all the activity around it) and selling at over $2400 per share! It would have split long ago, if it weren't for the uncertainty surrounding how long people will keep hoarding stuff on-line, primarily from Amazon. In the last six months Amazon stock has gone up from it's usual ~$1800, where it hovered until Jan 30th, then started to rise to almost $2200, until profit-taking by the super rich temporarily dropped it back to normal in mid-March... since then it's been a skyrocket.

Starting to make Sanders and his ilk look better all the time, huh? If we don't create some kind of wealth redistribution system (i.e. Euro-style socialism), we may get stuck with another version of the Bolshevik revolution... hope I'm not around to see that, I've never wanted to kill anyone, especially not a fellow citizen... rich or poor. Our whole government stinks right now, but the worst of it are the neo-con fascists pulling the strings, using red-herrings like "abortion", to keep the naive under their thumb.

You nailed it. The last time we were in a similar situation was the 1890's . The Gilded Age. Yellow journalism. History repeats.
