whats your opinion about a t3/t04e 50 Trim? for what i read in CFM site, the spa turbos they have for sale are the same size so this should fit the spa manifold too?

Hahahaha, I WAS running it, then it died (oil starvation). I'm back to stock turbo. I was gonna sell Mike my 50 trim, but I'm not sure how much it will cost to rebuild.

yup i was looking for a 2871 but brian changed my mind and now im really looking into this turbo, it is cheap compared to the others and seems like its good for a lot of power, also for what ive read by now, it fits the spa manifold.

I think anything with a 4 bolt exhaust discharge will fit IIRC.

the 50 trim is what i ran to make 353whp with the zetec. t it is no gt series for power or spool, but for the price it was great

For the few miles that I drove it, the 50 trim spooled nicely. But again, the rebuild could be $300, but it could be more, I don't know.

The PTE? If so send it back, should have less than a 1,000 miles maybe the warranty will cover some.

I doubt the PTE is covered by warranty. You had it for over a year and I'm not the original owner.

here is the turbo they suggest, there seems to be a MAJOR problem though, the exhaust housing is not a 4 bolt, its a 5bolt that has drilled other holes so that a 4 bolt downpipe can be used. This doesnt fit the spa manifold am i right?

yeah bullseye doesnt offer other housing, they only have that in .55ar and .70ar

btw jim, what comp turbo did you try back then?, was it the same jared tried? just read about the guy with the blue focus with the 3bb 5558, in the video it moves nice and the spool doesnt seem bad at all!! all that worries me is another seal leak..
