Turbos turn in the area of 24 to 26000 RPM MAX your turbo will live much longer if it is rebuilt by some one that has the equipment to do it right

A turbo spins very fast; most peak between 80,000 and 150,000 rpm (using low inertia turbos, 190,000 rpm)
No way they spin that fast......most turbo's on cars spin to 20-25k....30k max for street turbo's....a car engine just doesn't move enough air to make one spin that fast.

That was taken from an article about turbo's and how they work, not just off the top of my head. Look into it before you answer. They easily spin that fast.
