hi - newbie here!

just got the car back from mot and service and the mechanic is telling me the turbo is about to go. i must agree as it's really doing a metallic whistle.

My question is.... what will happen when it goes?

Will i damage the car more by letting it go before fixing?

What kind of car are we working on , The answer is yes you could do more damage to your engine and turbo if it gets a lot worse

Sounds like shaft play...

can you remove the intake side of the turbo and move the fins side to side or in and out?
