I have an out of the box diablo sport tune, my question is: is the tune reset to stock when the battery is replaced? i know that this can clear the ecu in other cars, just was not sure because i recently had the battery replaced an i think that they said they had to reset some settings when they did. and the car is not as quick as i remember? (maybe i have just bee driving faster cars latley?)

also i have an orp that i plan on throwing on there soon, do i need to have it retuned to work with the orp?, (i have an o2 cheater)

Thanks

I replaced my battery and believe me I'd have noticed if I lost my tune lol. I would't imagine needing to re-tune from adding an orp, but if I'm wrong I'm sure I'll be corrected.

Battery replacement/disconnection won't affect the tune that's stored on the computer at all.
I'm guessing, your tune is "relearning", and it may take a week or two before it really sets in again.

yep, it doesnt. but i do remember asking tom himself and he said after a long period of time without a battery like 3 or 4 months it might. cant really remember. and he should hook you up with an upgrade tune if you add a orp.

Once a tune is installed it is in there until they are removed by overwriting them.

i dont think it deletes it i think it just needs to re-learn values just like the stock tune does. ^^ and Im sure Tom's tune is better I just wish tunes didnt cost so much I need one desperately...i still have the stock SVT tune and its the shit one before even Ford realized they messed up bad and made a reflash.
