I picked up some vinyl for my 3rd tail light the other day:

and when i got done with that i thought i would try something new, i thought it would be pretty easy, but turned out to be very difficult and i cracked the clear plastic in the process of taking it off, but i think it looks kinda cool:

that crack is kinda messin up the looks tho

maybay you can go the junk yard or something and j ust get the lens off of an instrument cluster

yea, thats what im goin to do. and i have to try to get the lens off the temp/oil pressure gauges because i couldnt get that one off without destroying it.
